A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Adam moved out to San Francisco in 2011 to join the team and was soon added as partner. Adam works with Christian and Mike to elevate what craft beer can do for cuisine.
Christian has worked in the restaurant industry for much of his adult life, in a variety of places around the country. As Cellarmaster, he is the beer buyer and manages the inventory in the cellars of Monk's Kettle and Abbot's Cellar.
Mike got his foot in the door of the industry as a passionate beer geek working entry level sales. Now, at Monk’s and Abbot's, he's a passionate beer geek that co-directs the beer program with Christian and feverishly pairs beer with Chef Adam's food.
